B. Denise Hodgins holds a PhD and MEd in early childhood education. She has worked in the human services sector since 1989, including in school-age childcare, preschool education, and nonprofit program and service delivery. She is a sessional instructor in the School of Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria and also works as a pedagogical facilitator and researcher in child care. Her work reflects a commitment to making visible and engaging with issues of equity in, through, and for pedagogy and research.
