CAYC Webinar: The Journal of Childhood Studies, Special Issue: Epistemic Injustice

In this webinar, the guest editors and contributors discussed the Journal of Childhood Studies special issue on epistemic injustice in early childhood education and care. They considered how epistemic injustice is enacted within their various personal, collective, research, and academic settings as they seek to advocate for a range of diverse and subjugated knowledges within early childhood education and care settings. The participants discussed how Miranda Fricker's (2007) work on epistemic injustice has informed their writing, research, and pedagogical praxes and the possibilities for ongoing dialogue and relationalities from both within and outside the dominance of developmental hegemonies in early childhood education and care.
